Skydome rendered with Terragen: Red atmosphere as seen on vintage SF book covers and 1960s and 70s TV.
The direct light from the sun, close to the horizon has a cyan tint; the result of Terragen’s “Physically accurate” modelling of this non-real atmosphere, fill lighting in shaded areas has a strong red tone adding to the otherworldly feel of the lighting. There’s some wispy cloud and a large 3/4 moon. Lowered horizon and stylised ground viewed from a standing height of 1.7m but not obvious if seen from higher.
