Luxury Curved-Windows Living Room — Morning Sun HDRI (24K, 32-bit EXR)
A premium 24K equirectangular HDRI (32-bit float EXR) capturing a modern, high-end living room interior flooded by strong morning sunlight through large curved panoramic windows. The scene combines multiple practical light sources: a bright directional sun with crisp mid-day shadows visible through the windows, broad sky illumination that produces soft ambient fill, subtle skylight from a blue exterior, and warm linear cove / recessed LED lighting embedded in the curved ceiling that provides elegant rim and fill tones. Surfaces include polished marble or stone flooring with high-quality glossy reflections, a dense high-pile circular rug providing localized diffuse scattering, soft upholstered furniture with micro-specular highlights, glass and metallic elements on a low coffee table, and light curtains that slightly diffuse the incoming sun. The overall color balance offers a cool–warm contrast: cool blue exterior daylight vs. warm interior LEDs — ideal for realistic material separation and photoreal reflections.
This HDRI is optimized for interior architectural visualization, high-end product photography (furniture, decor, consumer electronics), look-development, and cinematic interior lighting tests. Use it as a full environment light for natural-looking sun+sky IBL or combine it with an additional physically-based sun to intensify hard shadows while keeping the realistic ambient contribution. Because of the high dynamic range and 32-bit precision, the map preserves highlight information from direct sun through glass and subtle low-light details from the cove lights without banding or clipping, making it excellent for Filmic/linear workflows and color grading.
Practical tips & recommended settings:
File: equirectangular EXR, 24K resolution, 32-bit float — rotate horizontally to align sun direction with your scene.
Use as environment for both lighting and reflections; toggle visibility for camera if you want a clean background plate.
For interiors, enable portal lights at window openings to improve sampling and reduce noise in path-traced renders.
To enhance shadow crispness, keep the HDRI for ambient/reflections and add a separate Sun lamp matched to the HDRI sun angle.
Rendering recommendations: path tracer with 128–1024 samples (depending on noise budget), denoiser enabled, clamp indirect to avoid fireflies, use Filmic color management and slight exposure compensation if highlights clip.
Material tips: glossy metals and glossy ceramics will pick up accurate environment reflections; the rug will preserve realistic diffuse occlusion and contact shadows.
Why this HDRI works:
High resolution (24K) captures fine specular detail for sharp reflections on polished floors and glass.
32-bit float retains direct sun highlights and subtle LED rim light without posterization.
Balanced mix of warm interior LEDs and cool exterior daylight gives strong material separation and cinematic character.
Ideal for scale-accurate interior renders (furniture shots, arch viz panoramas) where both directional sunlight and controlled interior lighting are required.
