Bake -Pine Tree- wood patterns:
The inside or outside surfaces of each instance radiates light and it gets baked to the object you place inside.
Rule 001:
Unwrap the UV's of your objects!!!
Seems and Unwrapping gives the best results...
No other UV projection tests worked !!!
Rule 002:
Place the target model's parts inside the tree, scattered within the tree-oven & no overlapping
Rule 003:
Consider the wood grain to be inline with the parts of the furniture or planks you would like to bake.
Rule 004:
Use basic Bake settings...
It's baking a 'Combined' result...
- Do not use - selected to active
- Do not use - bake from multires
Suggestion 001:
Low render setting & without noise reduction will give you noise, if you like that, ...16 samples is OK and fast.
Suggestion 002:
Add micro details of your own if you want higher quality and more realism.
Suggestion 003:
Play & Add more rings...
Clone a set of rings (last 2 models) and dial up the 'OLD- shape key'
...add about 0.05 per ring set. & randomize a bit to get dry years and wet years.
Suggestion 004:
Play with the materials & see what you can come up with. Darker wood at the center... or more steps in between the rings... it is for you to play with...
Consider inside material and outside material for each duplicate's polies...
Enjoy !!!!!!!
