This HDRi recreates the classic Rembrandt lighting setup, one of the most iconic techniques in portrait photography and cinematography.

The setup features a strong key light positioned at roughly 45° to the side and 45° above the subject, creating the signature triangle of light beneath the eye on the shadow side of the face. A softer fill light is placed on the opposite side to gently control contrast without flattening the image.
