Worlds Next Door Challenge 🔗
In collaboration with Calver School, we are excited to invite you to participate in a Blender community challenge and create a collaborative animated short film. The top 50 submissions will get amazing prices.
How it works 🔗
Participants will receive a Blender project file template of a first person character opening a door, entering it, looking around and turning back to enter the door again into the next world. The template sequence will be 10 seconds long.
Participants are free to design and show whatever they want to in these worlds. They can also adjust the design of the door, character and camera animation during the "looking around" phase of the sequence.
The top 50 submissions will be woven into a seamless animated short film, following a light narrative. The film will premiere on YouTube and will be submitted to film festivals.
Submission deadline: 22:00 Berlin time, July 6th
