Season Slider

Node Setup

1. Select the object with the material you want to modify

2. Open the Season Slider panel in the N-panel

3. Press the "Set Up Seasonal Nodes" button. The addon automatically creates a node setup

You can use the add-on with any material that has Principled BSDF thanks to Blender's shader nodes.

It is designed to be used with Cycles but it also works in EEVEE with a few options disabled.

Season Control

Control the seasonal transition with sliders.

Add color variation to the tree by leaf by leaf or by clusters to give it more life.

Add total snow coverage or randomly by increasing Snow Noise Scale.

Use leaf decay sliders to give the tree more natural autumn or winter look.

Use default presets for faster workflow, or even better, make your own presets.

Add wind and customize their parameters.

Randomize the scale and rotation of the selected objects to quickly get a new variation.

Technical Notes

• The addon is compatible with Blender 4.0 and above

• Default presets and values were made by using Cycles. Same results should not be expected in EEVEE

• The addon creates a node setup that should not be manually modified

• Leaf wind animation requires proper vertex groups to work

• Color controls are not accessible with Workbench render engine

Troubleshooting

• If sliders appear not working, try deleting the nodes and using the button to set up nodes

• Check that the object has a material assigned

• Ensure the material is using nodes

• For leaf wind animation issues, check vertex groups

• Ensure you are using a compatible Blender version

• If the UI seem to not update, use the Update UI button

• Vegetation library for you to use it directly in your projects which you will get access for free if you have purchased the add-on

Known Bugs

• Animation can't be added with multiple objects selected
