Merkurs AV-5 is based on Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3 and Formula E design. Our goal is to minimize aerodynamic drag, increase stabilization when cornering and balance the front, rear downforce bias for straight line speed and cornering.
It was equipped with the same system as Formula 1. For example adjustable TCS, adjustable ABS, DRS, ERS, regeneratif braking and more. Also safety by reinforcing front side, also behind cockpit of the vehicle and adding we called as safety glass on cockpit. While it add some safety from flying debris and shattered glass does not fly inside cockpit, it also minimize aerodynamic drag as we stated. Plus the glass is easily replaceable just like we normally see front bumper get replaced after a contact on streaming media or television.
Merkurs AV-5 utilize AWD drive terrain to increase grip on all four tires. Drive terrain also can be modified into RWD. Typically AWD drive terrain tend to understeer. But non the less, depend how you tune the drive train bias to reduce understeer, achieve excellent balance between front and rear bias.
Now talking about power, yea. This typically i skip or just say undefined amount of horsepower. Non the less, i will give estimation for this design. Power, safety and cost. With all of those restrictions, the F1 cars in 2021 have slightly more than 1000 HP with turbo-hybrid V6 powered engine. To put it into perspective, your regular car has about 180 and 200 HP, supercars usually have more than 500 HP. The gap is just insane.
