Blender add-ons

Many improvements were made to make uploading, finding and buying add-ons more pleasurable. To get your add-ons directly in Blender, go to Edit, Preferences, Get extensions, Repositories, filter the search by www.blenderkit.com, and grab your add-ons. View this IG reel to see how.

Printables

We welcomed printables into our library. This exciting new asset type helps unleash the enormous potential of Blender’s magic pipeline with regard to 3D printing. To learn how to upload printables, check this tutorial.

Improved Asset Bar

Navigation buttons were added to the Asset Bar, allowing smooth browsing through your search. Additionally, a new button in the bottom-right corner lets you expand or minimize the Asset Bar. You can set the number of rows in the Maximized Asset Bar Rows option under Preferences.

In collaboration with polygoniq, we organized the Czech-Slovak Blender Conference in Prague. Our beloved validator Amanpreet Bajwa gave a lecture about game art workflows, available now on YouTube along with other interesting talks.
