Tiling textures 🔗

If a texture repeats itself or it doesn’t continue smoothly when it is repeated, then it’s called visible tiling.

The opposite of visible tilling is called tileable texture. Tileable texture can be placed side-by-side with a copy of itself and show no seam where the two tiles touch. It is seamless and simply perfect.

Visible tiling limits the possible usage of the texture to small areas. If the texture is applied to large areas, the repeating pattern will be seen.

Therefore, please use tileable textures, especially in the case of high-quality materials.

Thanks for being perfect!
