Ring is conceptualized as an magical item rooted in Slavic culture, hence the sculpted tree roots as an naturalistic decorative element and Glagolitic inscription on the front and back of the ring. The text is written in Angular Glagolitic alphabet, oldest Croatian alphabet from 12th century which is a variation of Glagolitic script, the oldest Slavic alphabet.
