Your assets are feeling more expressive than ever! Now, assets sourced from higher Blender versions won't just sit there; they'll tell you their exact version details right below their expanded preview. Anticipate distinct messages fine-tuned to the asset's version difference, whether it's major, minor, or a patch.
⚠️ SSL Checks Option 🔗
We've added a sprinkle of flexibility to your BlenderKit preferences, enabling you to disable SSL checks at will. Proceed with caution, though; while power can be thrilling, it also calls for responsibility.
📚 Bookmarks Unleashed 🔗
Say goodbye to keeping your bookmarks under the wraps of experimental features. From now on, you can access and manage your bookmarks anytime you wish, without venturing into experimental territory.
Fixes 🔗
🔐 Enhanced Token Privacy in Logs: Privacy is our priority. Temporary tokens in logs are now wearing a mask of three asterisks, and permanent tokens don a mask of five. The curtain of privacy also extends to the logs in the add-on and the daemon.
🚀 Background Blenders Startup: We're all about stability! From now, we're launching background Blender instances with the --factory-startup flag to ensure seamless rendering and unpacking. Say hello to a Blender in the background unaffected by individual user configurations or add-ons.
🖌️ Brush Loading in Sculpt Mode: Our sculpt mode switch has been given a tune-up. It now not only switches to sculpt mode correctly but at the same it also directly loads the brush for your creative endeavors.
🧹 Explicit Logger Levels: To keep things neat and tidy, we've added explicit logging levels to bk_logger. This change keeps the log cleaner for developers of other add-ons if they set logging.level to debug or lower.
👤 User-Specific Temp Directories: Unique just like you! Every user now gets their very own temp directory, putting an end to the communal '/tmp' directory in UNIX systems. Your username will be part of your directory's name, adding that personal touch.
🔍 Enhanced Check for Brush's Thumbnail: We've fixed the faulty checks for non-existing brush props. We now peek into utils.get_active_brush().icon_filepath and let you know if your brush icon is MIA with a friendly error message.
🛡️ StructRNA & Memory Cleanup: Solved an issue of the BlenderKitDisclaimerOperator StructRNA removal upon unregistration, and fixed memory leaks on Blender exit with BlenderKit active. A cleaner, more efficient Blender experience awaits!
