Installation

Download the quadify.py file (or the zipped release).

In Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install.

Select the quadify.py file (or the zip file) and click Install Add-on.

Enable the add-on by checking the box next to "Mesh: Quadify".
Usage

Open the 3D Viewport and select a mesh in Object Mode.

Go to the sidebar (N key) and find the "Tri to Quad" tab.

Use the "Convert to Quads" button to convert triangles to quads, or "Reduce Poly Count" to simplify the mesh.

Adjust settings as needed (e.g., Face Angle Limit, Poly Reduction Ratio).

Troubleshooting

Blender Freezes: If the add-on freezes on large meshes (>100,000 faces), try reducing the poly count in smaller steps or disabling "Clean Degenerate Geometry".

No Quads Created: Increase the "Face Angle Limit" (e.g., to 45 or 60 degrees) to allow more triangles to merge into quads.

Manifold Error: Ensure your mesh is manifold (no non-manifold edges or zero-area faces) before using the add-on.
