Action Blocks - Preview

Use nodes to quickly create animation variations, block outs, game cinematics, background assets, instructional videos and animatics using animation and mocap libraries such as Mixamo or your own Action assets.

Preview Version

This version comes with some limitations including:

Maximum of 125 frames Draft Quality only, linear interpolation. No Filter Group offsets, Root Motion targets non-scrubbable node progress

The output Actions can be used like any other Action, with no resampling, no baking, no exporting. This means, you can adjust the output with ease for a final pass. Use with the NLA editor for composing and re-timing even larger sequences. This add-on is not required for distributed rendering or file sharing. No data is lost or inaccessible when the add-on is not installed.

NLA is not used. All animation is written directly to keyframes. No need for baking.

Make The Most Out Of Actions
Simply add Action nodes using your own simple actions, connect them in sequence. Use repeat, scale, trim, blend parameters as well as Spacer nodes and Mix nodes to create a final output action. This work flow offers the benefit of a non-destructive and iterative approach to animation.

Apply Root Motion
String actions together while maintaining root motion offsets for location and rotation. Modify the root path using offsets and targets.

Make Multi-Layered Animation
Use Mix nodes to combine, replace or extend animation keyframes.

Dedicated Mixamo Conversion
Prepare actions from Mixamo for Root Motion with a single click.
