Clarification for Authors from Russia Regarding the Use of BlenderKit and Payouts 🔗

This statement outlines our service's position in relation to Russia during the invasion of Ukraine.

First and foremost, we stand with Ukraine. We actively contribute financial support to the Ukrainian army, deducting these donations from our earnings generated by Russian users. The brutal and senseless war initiated by Russia must be ended by Russia withdrawing from all Ukrainian territories.

We have not restricted access to our service in Russia. We continue to believe that art has the power to promote peace, and we reject the notion that all Russians support the actions of their government. Indeed, we have friends who once resided in Russia but no longer do. It is our belief that not all Russians are supporters of Putin.

However, we have ceased all payouts to Russia and to any individuals attempting to bypass our regulations by creating accounts in other countries. Currently, the only way for Russian creators to receive payments from us is by providing proof of residency in another country. This includes documents such as a rental agreement, a contract with a phone company, or similar evidence, in addition to a statement opposing the war. If you cannot provide documentary evidence, we offer an alternative: send us an email and we'll find some way to clarify. If you can demonstrate that you are living abroad, we will proceed with your payments.
